A PERSONALIZED PROCESS

In our 8–12 session learning journey we focus on developing self-regulation skills using evidence-based practices for stress and emotional regulation. You’ll learn simple, reliable strategies you can return to in any circumstances. You’ll also be invited to try out the practices between sessions, supporting real-life integration and embodiment.

OUR WORK TOGETHER —
WHAT TO EXPECT

SOMATIC TECHNIQUES

Our work together centers around learning and embodying somatic tools to reduce the physical and mental symptoms of tension, stress and other overwhelming emotions, as these techniques are highly effective in supporting nervous system regulation. I also draw on other psychological tools as needed, always tailored to what feels most supportive for you.

NO ONE-SIZE-FITS-ALL

All techniques have value. But some tools may feel safe and helpful, others less so. Not every technique works for everyone— some people, for example, may find breathwork grounding and supportive, while for others it can feel overwhelming. The aim isn’t to master every tool but to find the ones that truly resonate with you. The journey is highly individual.

A COLLABORATIVE JOURNEY

This is a collaborative and empowering process — guiding you without pressure or obligation at any point. We’ll explore together what truly works for you and your unique nervous system, always following your body’s own sensations.

GROUNDED IN SCIENCE

This approach is grounded in well-established research on how the body and nervous system respond to stress. It’s informed by insights from affective neuroscience, trauma-informed care and the polyvagal perspective - all emphasizing the connection between physiological states and emotional well-being. While theories differ in how they explain these processes, there is broad agreement that lasting change often involves working with the body, not just the mind. That’s why somatic principles and practices have become essential.

WHAT YOU’LL TAKE WITH YOU

You’ll come away with a personalized skillset and a growing set of personal resources you can rely on in everyday life - whether you’re caught in a wave of emotion or just need a way to release daily tension. Over time, regular short practice (just a few minutes a day) helps build long-term capacity, so you can meet life’s challenges with more control and steadiness. It’s about knowing what works for you—and trusting that your body can support you.

PLEASE NOTE:
I do not offer psychotherapy, counselling or medical care. My current work is fully dedicated to somatic, educational and skills-based support for stress and anxiety release and nervous system regulation.
