EVA SUZANNA GASPAR

Psychologist,
Somatic
Practitioner & Educator

Eva Suzanna Gaspar, psychologist and somatic practitioner, offering somatic stress and anxiety release sessions in Budapest and online.

I’ve always been interested in how people function — not only on a personal level, but within the wider systems that shape their lives. My background as a psychologist gave me a broad view of human experience and the many ways we try to make sense of it. Over time, I became more curious about what lies beyond insight — about how real change and relief actually happen. Discovering somatic approaches brought that missing piece: a way to translate understanding into felt, embodied experience.

Along the way, I’ve had the chance to study with some of the most inspiring teachers and organizations in the field of somatics — to whom I’m deeply grateful. Learning from their work has not only deepened my knowledge, but also shaped the way I share it — emphasizing presence, respect and a deep appreciation for each person’s inner experience.

In my own work, I place particular emphasis on the practical side of the somatic approach — making these techniques sustainable and easy to integrate into everyday life, so they can help people reconnect with their natural resilience. Today, I focus on guiding people in learning simple and accessible tools that support nervous system regulation. My approach is gentle, non-directive and respectful — it’s not about fixing or forcing, but about creating a supportive space where you can tune into your own inner signals and find what truly supports you.

And on a lighter note: I share my home in Budapest with my husband and our cat, Charlie — who, despite failing spectacularly as a would-be therapy cat, is still a daily teacher in the art of rest, presence and unapologetic boundaries.
